Health Insurance |
In the metropolitan DC area,
SAI offers three options for health insurance, each with
individual costs and benefits. Our service provider is
CareFirst Blue Cross / Blue Shield, and the available plans
are HSA/PPO, HMO, and Opt Out. Outlying locations are
only offered the HSA/PPO plan. |

Dental Insurance |
SAI offers dental insurance through CareFirst.
|

Life Insurance |
SAI provides all employees with
company paid
life and accidental death/dismemberment coverage.
The life insurance is two times your annual salary to
a maximum amount of $300,000.

Short -Term Disability Insurance |
Beginning the 14th day after an accident or illness, you
will be eligible for short term disability insurance which
pays up to 60% of your weekly pay for up to 11 weeks after
the start of the benefit.
This benefit
is paid by SAI. |

Long-Term Disability Insurance |
After 90 consecutive days of total disability, employees are
eligible for 60% of pay (tax-free) during the period of
total disability. Long-term disability insurance costs
six-tenths (.006) of one percent of the employee’s salary
and is a voluntary, employee paid program so that this
benefit can be paid tax-free. |

401k & Profit Sharing |
Employees are automatically enrolled in the SAI 401k/Profit
Sharing program at 4% of their salary on the first day of
the month after 30 days of employment. Employees are
always free to participate at either a higher or lower
level, or to opt out of the program completely.
Annually, SAI makes a profit-sharing contribution
decision.
SAI has matched
employee contributions at 100% (up to the 4% of employee
salary contribution level) for the past 3 years.

Holidays |
SAI observes all 10 federal holidays. |
|
Paid Time Off |
Initially, employees receive 5 hours of paid time off (PTO) each pay
period for a total of 120 hours (3 weeks total) PTO
annually. As your time with the company increases, so
does your PTO benefit. |

Transportation/Metro Benefits |
SAI offers employees Metro SmartBenefits, which allow
employees to utilize pre-tax dollars for public
transportation expenses. |
