Career Opportunities

Staffing Alternatives, Inc, is excited to partner with the US Navy NAVFAC Pacific Northwest in supporting the outreach efforts to recruit qualified and motivated Engineers (Interior, Structural, Geotechnical, Mechanical, Electrical. Civil/Structural, Fire Protection, Architects, Landscape Architects, and Cost Estimators) to join the US Navy civilian team. 

 

Roles are located at the three Navy installations in the Puget sound region and offer a hybrid and flex work schedule. As these are FEDERAL POSITIONS, they include a solid benefit package including generous time-off, retirement, healthcare (health, vision, dental), and opportunities for training and advancement. 

 

As part of the US Navy Civilian team, you will support the mission to strengthen the Navy and Marine Corps combat readiness worldwide through facilities lifecycle support focused on the Fleet, Fighter, and Family. 

 

Requirements depend on the level and specific role but at minimum three years of specialized experience in the Federal service, private, or public sector in the field. Specialized experience is defined as experience that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled and has equipped you with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or License 

  • Minimum 3 years of engineering experience related to the field.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret level DOD security clearance.

SAI supports multiple Federal customers in the field of Human Resources. We are continually seeking individuals who posses experience supporting federal agencies (IC community) in the field of HR. Skillsets strongly desired are recruitment, Personnel Action Requests (PAR), Official Personnel File (OPF) processing, Veteran Preference, data analytics, workforce planning, PeopleSoft experience, OPM policies and procedures, and HR employment laws. Although most opportunities do require a clearance, preferable TS/SCI eligible, we are often sourcing qualified Human Capital candidates from all clearance levels.
